Surgical Cleft Mission Abroad

Realizing the problems of War damaged country with no facilities for cleft surgeries, we started Cleft Mission to Estiqlal Hospital, Kabul, Afghanistan in April 2013. Since then six Cleft missions have been carried out where 959 Cleft patients were operated and got Speech Therapy Services as well.
The patient Enok was operated by Prof. Dr. Ghulam Qadir Fayyaz(our chief Surgeon ) in Rahengeria, Rwanda in September 2013 in a mission organized by Operation Smile, USA. Enok was working in bakery but used to hide his face in public so that the kids do not get scared.
